and announcing - Jane and The Shame. In January 2009, Jane McLean (vocals), Colin Mackintosh (guitar) and Chris Spalding (guitar) got together through their love of Country music. Their origimal 20 or so songs contained Country standards from notables like Jimmie Rodgers and The Carter Family. With the established group now settled in, there grew a feeling that a rhythm section would give wider appeal - so, in come Jas Canavan (bass) and Dave McDonald (percussion).
The extended group first played Lauries in September 2009, and are back by popular demand.
