Country and Bluegrass - in the heart of old Glasgow,and part of the Merchant
City.
Lauries has been the originator and the mainstay of the Celtic Connections fringe, and a is strong supporter of Folk Festivals and Traditional Music.

Laurie, the Proprietor, is a well-known Scottish Traditional singer
with strong Folk Music links, who has hosted many successful Charity events.
Cy is committed to Acoustic Music, whether it be Folk, Jazz or Bluegrass.
Lauries resident Dixieland Jazz and Blues band on Saturday
afternoon is a major feature.
Another regular attraction is Mondays Open Mic night with Bernadette Collier. At Lauries, you will receive a friendly welcome from owners Cy and Mary Laurie, and manageress Pat Murray. You will also find an affordable food menu in Terri's Kitchen.
Come and hear Kandella and The LateComers at 8pm,on Friday 29th August, then the ever-welcome Carol Creighton is with us on Saturday 6th September at 8pm.
NORTH SEA GAS will be here on Thursday 4th September and then we have an acclaimed Country Music Band, THE WHITE TOP MOUNTAIN BAND from Virgina, USA, on Sunday 14th September!
Starting on Thursday 25th September, we have The Merchant City Festival.
This is kicked-off by a Scottish Traditional Song Night,
then on Friday 26th 8pm we have Kandella and The LateComers, and
all-day Saturday 27th, its the outside stage, featuring The Bagbos, Dave Wilson, Kandella, the Latecomers, and Bernadette Collier. Beat that!
