and Bluegrass - right in the heart of old Glasgow,and part of the Merchant
City.
Lauries has been the originator and the mainstay of the Celtic Connections fringe, and a is strong supporter of Folk Festivals and Traditional Music generally.

Laurie, the Proprietor, is a well-known Scottish Traditional singer
with strong Folk Music links, who has hosted many successful Charity events.
Cy is committed to Acoustic Music, whether it be Folk, Jazz or Bluegrass.
Lauries resident Dixieland Jazz and Blues band on Saturday
afternoon is a major feature. Another regular attraction is Mondays Open
Mic night with Bernadette Collier.
At Lauries, you will receive a friendly welcome from owners Cy and Mary Laurie, and manageress Pat Murray. And bite on an affordable food menu in Terri's Kitchen.

The Carlton Jug Band are back on Sunday 13th. July, 3pm to 6pm
On Saturday 19th 8pm, we have Justin Townes Earle, son of the legendary Steve Earle
Come and hear Kandella and The LateComers on June 27th, 8pm, then on Friday 25th July
Every Monday is Open Mic night with Bernadette Collier at 8.45!.
